Bennevis II (1957 -1973)

1943 - Launched by Seattle-Tacoma Shipbuilding Corporation Tacoma as the escort Aircraft Carrier WILLIPA for the US                Navy

1944 - Assigned to Great Britain under 'Lend Lease' and renamed H.M.S. PUNCHER

1948 - Sold to Lancashire Shipping and reconstructed as a merchant ship renamed MUNCASTER CASTLE

1954 - Renamed BARDIC while on charter  to Shaw Saville & Albion Co. Ltd.

1957 - Acquired by Ben Line while on Charter name unchanged

1959 - Renamed BENNEVIS when off charter

1973 - Arrived in Kaohsiung for breaking.
